The London Festival Fringe is inclusive. All artists and performers are welcome as are all venues. There are many suitable venues in London. If you do not have a venue please contact them direct.
What's the deadline for being part of the Fringe? The Festival?
There is no deadline. You can take part in the London Fringe at any time. It never stops. The Festival occurs once a year in July. Again, there is no deadline, you can join the Festival at any time.
Why should I come to the London Festival Fringe?
London is the Art Capital of the world. There is an enormous amount of art and performance taking place. For artists and performers there are many, many venues where shows and events take place. For visitors who come to the city there is shopping in the daytime, long summer evenings walking along the embankment, hundreds of great restaurants, and entertainment everywhere.
Promoters, Venue Managers, Agents, Arts Business People
The Festival is also a place and time for you to connect with other people in the world of art and entertainment.
We've set up a central London professional hub for artists, performers, promoters, managers, and others in the business of art and entertainment, to make contacts and discuss business. This is the Phoenix Artists Club in the heart of Soho.
Can I bring a show from overseas?
This is an International Fringe and Festival and it welcomes overseas performers. If you are a citizen from outside the European Economic Area, you may need a visa to enter the UK. Please get in touch with your embassy or consulate in London.
Is there a Festival management or application fee?
No. There is no management/application fee able to the Festival organisation. You may need to apply to a venue, though, and they may or may not charge. We don't enter into that. We will charge a fee to be listed on the Festival site during the Festival.
How does ticketing work and how are the profits split?
You can use any ticketing agency you like. We provide a box when you enter your listing where you can enter a link to your ticketing page on their site. This link will appear against your event on our site so people are directed to your online box office. Profits are split between you and the venue. the Festival organisation does not enter into it.
Are technical and front of house staff provided?
That's between you and the venue.
Is AV equipment provided? Is video/audio/photographic documentation provided?
This needs to be checked with the venue.
If you have a question please contact us.
