Comedy Award nominee Totally Tom: "Who do you think you are most influenced by when writing the material? Nietzsche. 'God is dead... long live Totally Tom'. We also really like 8 out of 10 cats."

Your sketches cover a lot of bases, is there anyone you would never parody, if so why?
 I think we could never really bring ourselves to parody children. Mainly because we hate them.

 Who do you think you are most influenced by when writing the material?
 Nietzsche. 'God is dead... long live Totally Tom'. We also really like 8 out of 10 cats.

 Does Totally Tom have a masterplan, or will you be settling for world domination?
 Tom wants to end up with a big family and make a lot of friends along the way. Other Tom wants to learn German.

 Which do you prefer, the writing or the spotlight, and do you use any strange techniques for either?
 We prefer the writing process as we don't do any of the writing and it's nice to have some down time. Come to think of it we don't perform it either, so... even Stevens.

 As a duo you seem very close, but if you were actually attached at the hip, which side would each Tom be on and why?
 Hopefully we'd be back to back as Tom gets bad breath in the morning.

 Finally, are you doing any gigs at the New Red Lion Theatre, Leicester Square Theatre or Soho Theatre in the next few months?
