London Film Award nomination Kevin MacDonald: '[as director] Life in a Day is an intimate, startling, unsettling and often deeply moving odyssey through the everyday business of being human.'

The Telegraph: “Life in a Day is an intimate, startling, unsettling and often deeply moving odyssey through the everyday business of being human.”

Life In A Day was an ambitious project that in the end was well executed, producing probably the most significant film of the age of social media, and (I’m loathed to use the term) web 2.0. As we become ever more interconnected and reliant on each other, it attempts to show that overall we have more in common than we might think, and that there is some merit and worth to the bits of our lives we post for others to see everyday. It’s a fascinating and encouraging venture into what could be a significant area of cinema in years to come.
