Jeff Hahn's photography displays a fascination with the little fragments of life, the bits and pieces that seemingly fit together. He believes in destiny, and a reason for being, and his work reflects a desire to find these patterns in the universe. His belief that everything happens for a reason, and his willingness to embrace strangers and strange events as a part of his journey, means that his work is both heavily stylised and strangely human. Even the flashy, provocative fashion pieces produce more empathy than one might expect looking at models. It's falsely poetic of course, but it's poetic realism, and truth shines through.
